My line of original textile art pieces available to wholesale buyers includes fine art textile “badges”, silk scarves, and cotton/linen pillows.  Individually created with my own hand-dyed and hand-printed fabrics,  each of these is a one-of-a-kind art work.  Variations in color and pattern are part of the process and make each piece special.

Stitched Textile Personal Badges

Made from hand-dyed vintage fabrics with machine and hand stitching, mounted on birch panel.  Personal patches, autobiographical badges of honor, acknowledging learning, growth, imperfection and impermanence. Each little piece honors some aspect of my life, those things I’ve chosen as notable in some way.

Scarves

Also one-of-a-kind items, these individually hand-dyed and hand-printed top quality 100% silk scarves are available in one size, 14″ x 72″ and two silk options, Charmeuse or Crepe de Chine.  I create 2 styles of scarves:

Natural Plant-Dyed Scarves

These scarves are dyed and direct contact-printed using natural plant materials (leaves, roots, bark), natural dye extracts and mordants, showing nature’s true colors and marks.

Hand-Dyed Black Scarves

Black-dyed scarves are hand-painted with color remover in my original designs and then steamed to reveal the drawn images.

Black Patterned Pillows

These are made from hand-printed fabrics in multiple designs – one-of-a-kind hand-printed 100% cotton front panels.  Back panels are 100% linen with envelope style closure.  They come with a non-allergenic faux down insert.  Sizes are 18″x 18″ and 12″x 18″.
