These pieces are made from cloth that has been dyed and contact-printed with natural plant dyes and materials. Leaves are bundled in wool, silk, cotton, and linen then cooked in a natural dye bath in a magic iron pot. The alchemy of plant materials, water, heat, and metal imprints the cloth with nature’s colors and marks. Stitching (both by hand and machine) completes the compositions.
